Another academic year, another year with AIC! It’s time for the first event of fall 2021. We welcome every Aalto student to our info evening with special guests Ilkka Paananen and Annu Nieminen! This time you can enjoy quality food, hear our speakers’ words of wisdom and at the same time learn about our association and how to apply for the board of 2022!

The event is limited to 80 people to maintain good hygiene and other precautions for Covid-19. We will close the registration once these places are full.

GUEST SPEAKERS
Annu Nieminen
Annu Nieminen founded The Upright Project, the Helsinki-based technology company with a mission to create incentives for companies to optimize their net impact, and has been the CEO of The Upright Project since 2017. Upright is building a new type of quantification model for the net impact of companies, with the aim of enabling smarter decision-making for institutional investors, consumers and employees. In June 2020, Upright started globally distributing its net impact data in partnership with Nasdaq.
Ilkka Paananen
Ilkka Paanen co-founded Supercell, the Helsinki-based mobile games developer behind Clash of Clans, Hay Day, Boom Beach and Clash Royale, and has been the CEO of Supercell since 2011. In addition to his role at Supercell, Paananen helps and mentors other entrepreneurs both as an investor and as an active member of the Helsinki-based startup community. Paananen has also founded the We Foundation, which fights for social inequality and helps disadvantaged children in Finland.

We take the current COVID-19 situation seriously, so to provide a safe event for all attendees we are addressing the following factors. Please remember, that we can't ensure a virus-free event.
Food & Drinks: Organizers will use gloves and masks while handling consumables.
Safe distances: We recommend you maintain a 1-2 meter safety distance to other participants.
Face masks: We recommend participants to wear a face mask throughout the event.
Hygiene: Hand sanitisers are spread throughout the event space.
