Aalto Invests is an investing game for all Aalto students. A fun way to learn about investing and gain confidence in your abilities on stock market. We encourage students from all fields to participate!
In the upcoming game, you have the possibility to try out investing as an individual or as a group! You will be able to make buy and sell orders with real-time prices! So, join us and seize the opportunity to challenge yourself and your friends and see how high your profits can really go!

GAME DETAILS
Registration begins on Tuesday 15.2. at 12.00. We will post the registration link on our web page, Facebook event bio and Instagram stories.
To signup for the game, fill the registration form. If you participate as a group, one of the group members signs up the whole team. If your registration was done successfully, we will send an email with a link to the game on WealthBase. You need to register on the platform in order to participate in the game. Be creative with the username – it'll be the one showing on the leader board, if you make it there! 😉
NOTE: Check your junk box for our emails! We know that double registration is a hassle, but this way we can make sure that all the game spots go to Aalto students, and not to bots etc. Thank you for putting up with this!
The game will be hosted on Wealthbase, a real-time trading simulator, where you will have $100,000 of initial capital. You can freely invest in stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies. The investment game does not have any requirements on the investment strategies themselves. However, we wish that players invest the whole initial capital during the game. Furthermore, Wealthbase also has an intuitive mobile app that makes the experience more interactive.
REAL TIME TRADING
Using the same order types available in real brokerages you can trade stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies. Buy and sell short with market, limit, and stop orders.
TRADE RATIONALES
You can share your trades and trade rationales in the game feed or comment and “uptick” shares made by other players.
PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Similar to a real brokerage account, you can track the daily total returns of your portfolio, and see which closed positions made you the best returns.
PERFORMANCE COMPARISON
You can compare your performance against market indexes, the game average, and other players.
ACTIVITY FEED
In the activity feed, you can post ideas, share trades, and comment on game activity with other players.
